Red Bull Bracket Reel harnessed the power of social media and user generated content to create a digital experience that put a spotlight on the unique energy and talent of specific collegiate teams. Chosen from hundreds of applications, it's a bracket-style, video-editing competition among 16 surf, snow or dance crews (depending on the time of year). Each week, teams create a unique routine and video-edit. Judges score each video and fans vote to help boost their favorite crew's score. After four brutal rounds of head-to-head competition, the last team standing is crowned champion.
Depending on the sport, winning teams were flown to a once in a lifetime experience with a Red Bull athlete.
